When I was organizing my new desk in my craft room, I got distracted and started looking through the few pages I put together in my Project Life album last summer. Flipping through it made me realize the true value of scrapbooking.
The pages from last summer are nothing fancy or even particularly creative, but I love them all the same. It’s what convinced me to start Project Life again. This time around I am not going to hold myself to a schedule or time limit (weekly pages, for example), as that never works for me – I will just scrap our life as it happens, with no obligations or feelings of being ‘behind’.
For this new start, I’ve decided to use the Inspire Edition core kit for the base of my album. It is not the only core kit I’ve purchased, but it is the first one I’ve seen that I have completely fallen in love with, and I really like the idea of having a cohesive album. I will also be using other cards and supplies here and there of course (most notably the Notes & Things kit), but my inspiration and color scheme for my whole album will be from Inspire.
Here are a few photos of my favorite cards::
And here is the album I’ve ordered to use::
Are any of you using the Project Life system to document your lives this year? What do you like most about it? If you have a blog, leave me a link so I can check out your pages too 🙂
PS – Please excuse the poor quality photos. I haven’t found all the equipment I need for my DSLR since the move, so these were taken & edited with my phone!
